International Women's Day

On March 7, 2024, International Women's Day was observed. The Govt. College for Girls, Sector 14, Gurugram women's cell hosted a lecture on the "POSH Act" in room 43. Ms. Ritu Kapoor, an advocate of the Gurugram District Court, gave the talk. By providing several examples, she educated the pupils on words such as "sexual harassment," "aggrieved women," "conciliation clause," and "interim relief." She gave the pupils information on how to stop women from being sexually harassed at work. What is the POSH Act, and when and how might an aggrieved party file a complaint under it? She explained to the children what the POSH Act covers and section 354. She asked questions to students as she wrapped up the presentation and answered their doubts with various instances. Dr. Sonia Yadav, Dr. Babita jaiswal, Dr. Shashi Bala, Dr. Smriti and convener of women cell Miss.Anu Indora were present on this occasion.
